Flashing Neon Sign Required

Well I'm writing this post, partially because I've been asked to update my website, and partially out of inspiration from last night.

I think I've figured out that people hear what they want to hear, and see what they want to see. I don't know if I posted a picture of our rings, but they are the traditional gold wedding bands, and I wear mine all the time. My engagement ring I've started wearing a bit less often, since I don't want it destroyed amongst the packing/unpacking/moving/cleaning/sorting etc. ...

Anyway, yesterday I bumped into this guy I hadn't seen in a few months, and we were only ever acquaintances. A few months ago I had mentioned moving, planning my wedding, and looking for a permanent teaching job. We also talked about going to the gym, and going to university, and working. Anyway we bumped into each other yesterday, and he remembered my name (I forget his - man I suck with names {but I'm good with faces}) and we chatted. I was wearing both my engagement ring and my wedding ring (on separate hands). I also talked with my hands, so I was waiting for him to ask how the wedding went. But he didn't. So at the end of the conversation, I decided to talk about how busy the summer was with moving and getting married. And he was surprised/shocked!

I've noticed that people don't really see wedding/engagement rings anymore, so for all you jealous protective guys out there, you should probably save yourself some cash and buy a flashing neon engagement/wedding ring. http://image.orientaltrading.com/otcimg/24_1523.jpg?resize(350x350)
I can't guarantee that she'll still want to marry you, but if she does then you'll get to live more comfortably knowing that people can't miss this ring. lol
