Wedding update and ideas

So, I went to another wedding. It was fantabulous! I got to go to Boston, and see family members I haven't seen in about 2-10 years. So that part was also great! =)

Anyway, the wedding was awesome - less people than I expected, but great food and service - it was at the Ritz Carleton. I also managed to pick up a few things that I can use for the wedding:

- Photo guestbook
- Gift baskets
- Cake as dessert

Bassem - my cousin, had a tasty wedding cake, that also served as dessert. I usually don't end up eating the wedding cake at weddings (twice out of 21 weddings in the last few years), since I am usually good with the dessert they provide, and then get too full for cake. So having an excellent cake, and serving it as dessert - was great!

There's more I can say, but I have to keep it short for now , since I am working on moving out, of both the classroom and my apartment. Talk to you guys soon.

Cheers,
Nora

Whoa, sorry it's been a while

Sorry it's been a while, I've been working on a bunch of stuff with the teaching thing. The thing is, we've been doing a countdown - just over a week to go BTW =), but the thing that comes with that is... REPORT CARDS. Yup, them crazy things that the kids probably end up scrunching up on the way home. Anyway, I handed them in today, so this week is editing week, and a much more relaxed one too - well except for all of the plans.

Figuring out a Venue and Date

Many people have been asking me about the Big day, and when it will be. Well, Jeff was originally thinking about the Spring, but due to the exhaustion I feel with my teaching right now, I am not certain that I could easily handle the Spring. So now we are thinking early June, looking at the calendar I noticed that July 7th was a Saturday. So we could possibly have a wedding 07 07 07, interesting eh? especially considering I noticed this today on 06 06 06. hmmmm

As for the venue, it's hard to figure out, since most of the places I call, are open for booking until 5pm, and it's really tough for me to get to a phone (or get anywhere for that matter) between 8 and 6, while I am teaching. This is beginning to look like not much will be done until I move back to Ottawa, and teaching is over for this school year. There are a lot of cool places around though - which is awesome. There are even some that I haven't been to in the last couple of years (even though there were about 20 weddings), so that's cool.

Yup, this is a pretty boring post. There's been a lot going on recently, so I haven't had much time to update, or figure out new stuff. I am considering making a webpage like the whole www.savekaryn.com page, to raise some funds for the wedding, but we'll see. lol

Anyway, I hope that all is well,
Nora
